Then apply for us.Your TasksYour personal responsibilities in the team will include some of the following:Design of pneumatic, electrical and mechatronic systemsDesign of Electrical Wiring Harnesses throughout the Vehicle and test equipmentManaging the life-cycle of Vehicle Electrical Wiring HarnessDesign and development the hardware architecture and be responsible of productionDevelop the most cost-and-time-effective test proceduresInvolvement in the production processes of avionics hardware for both testing and flightConduct technical meetings and collaborate with various departments such as the system engineering team for hardware requirementsPrepare assembly and procedure documentation to a high standardIdentify and evaluate risks and faults, making recommendations for future preventionYour QualificationsMeeting some of these requirements will give you a strong basis with which to join our team.Currently enrolled in a degree in aerospace engineering, electronics engineering or an equivalent scientific qualificationMotivation to participate in NEW Space knowledge either in, Mechanical or Electrical Wiring Interface System DesignConduct technical meetings and collaborate with various departmentsThe ability to work effectively and independently while under pressure and to tight deadlinesThe ability to work hands-on with avionics hardwareFluent oral and written English skills (all day-to-day activities are performed in English)Meeting 1 or two of these requirements will narrow down where you would fit best in our team:Relevant experience in aerospace Motivation to participate in NEW SpaceExperience in Electrical Wiring Interface System design using Wire Harnessing software (Rapid Harness preferable)Experience in mechanical design using CAD software (NX preferable)Knowledge of communication buses such as CAN, Ethernet, SPIExperience with electromechanical actuators; BLDC motors, encoders, drivers and sensorsExperience in the testing electronic systemsWe offerAtmosphere: Experience life in an international New Space start-upFlexibility: Fit your working schedule to your needs with flexible working hoursHealth: Sweat, stretch or squat it out with WellPass, a training app which connects you to thousands of gyms and studiosParking: Free parking for your car and your bikeRFA Family: Join our self organized after-work activities or company events and become part of the RFA familyThis is the perfect opportunity to take on an exciting new challenge and be part of the leading private company in the new European space race.
