Material Planner (m/f/x)Your responsibilitiesControl of a portfolio of internally manufactured and externally sourced materials, covering demand planning, inventory planning, and procurement planning to ensure supply availabilityUse and management of planning-specific software solutions in conjunction with SAPPlanning through the creation of rolling forecasts, replenishment concepts, and the analysis of inventory and consumption data, including the derivation of appropriate measuresActing as an interface between internal and international stakeholders, particularly Master Data, Production, Procurement, and Product ManagementImplementation of a system-supported, integrated planning approach for internationally and cross-site aligned raw material planningScheduling management and availability checks for customer ordersActive participation in projects aimed at optimizing supply chain planning processes, e.g. partial automation initiativesYour profileCompleted degree in economics or commercial vocational training, preferably with an additional qualificationSeveral years of professional experience in international supply chain planning, particularly in mass planning of items, as well as in project managementExpertise in various (replenishment) planning methodsExperience in the optical industry is an advantageProficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly MS Excel), SAP, and ideally APS softwareBusiness-fluent in German and EnglishAbility to understand and digitalize material flow structures as an end-to-end processCommunicative and proactive team player, combined with a high level of customer and results orientationAnalytical skills, a structured way of working, and affinity for ITAbout Rodenstock
