Detection Engineer CDC / Security Specialist (m/w/d) in Leipzig

Introduction

To further expand our operations staff for the R&S Cyber Defense Center, we are looking for an experienced Senior CDC Engineer to support our global team.

Tasks

• In the role of CDC Detection Engineer, you take technical responsibility for the CDC Detection Engineering process and further develop it.
• In a global team, you continuously improve detection & response capabilities (workflows and toolchain).
• You implement and improve alerting and detection rules.
• If necessary, you provide operational support to our analysts (real-time monitoring, analysis and triage of events/alarms, coaching).
• You work closely with our global infrastructure operations teams (e.g., Malware Defense, Vulnerability Management).
• You create and maintain documentation (e.g., SOPs, standards, architecture diagrams).
• In projects, you provide consultancy on the use of existing solutions and the integration of new tools according to security standards & best practices.
