Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior System Engineering Expert (m/f/d) to design and implement a company-wide System Engineering Framework. This strategic role is essential for shaping and enhancing our engineering capabilities and organizational methodologies.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive System Engineering Framework, including a tailored Life Cycle Model.
• Adapt the framework to the operational environment, incorporating industry best practices and standards (e.g., INCOSE, ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288).
• Design and establish a company-wide Enterprise Architecture to support system development processes.
• Lead a project team to create and deploy the System Engineering Framework.
• Collaborate with departments to support the implementation of the Life Cycle Model.
• Provide consulting and support to operational units applying the framework in ongoing projects.

Your Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in System Engineering roles (e.g., System Architect, Engineering Manager, Chief Engineer).
• Industry experience in sectors such as Aerospace, Space, Defense, Railway, Nuclear, or Energy Plants.
• Leadership experience as Engineering Manager or Chief Engineer.
• Deep understanding of systems engineering principles, enterprise architecture, and complex development processes.
• Experience in developing and implementing methodological frameworks and standards.
• Hands-on experience with the V-Model across different functions (design, integration, validation, development).
• Proven track record in change management and transformation projects.
• Practical experience in cross-functional projects at the company level.
• Ability to communicate effectively across organizational levels (C-level to Line Management).
• Strong communication skills, strategic mindset, and initiative.
• Fluent in English and German (spoken and written).
