Senior Customer Quality Manager (f/m/d)
Location: Dahlewitz (Germany), with activities at remote locations in Savannah (US) and Merignac (France).
This role reports to the Vice President Quality and leads a small team of Customer Quality Managers while influencing the wider Business Aviation Programmes team.
Responsibilities include providing leadership on quality strategy, managing senior level customer relationships, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving continuous improvement.
- Key Accountabilities
- Manage senior level customer relationships regarding quality.
- Lead a team of Customer Quality Managers, prioritising tasks and providing leadership on high-profile issues.
- Ensure relevant law, regulation, customer requirements and business strategy are understood and complied with.
- Develop people capability, culture and process compliance to meet regulatory, customer and business requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve quality and implement improvement plans.
- Provide reports, data and insights related to quality for governance reviews.
- Drive change to the Management/Operating System to mitigate risks, maximise effectiveness and eliminate waste.
- Enable Right First Time through coaching and error prevention methodologies.
- Enact/coaching correct intervention approaches and lead resolution of high-impact, complex problems.
- Key Experiences & Qualifications
- University degree in engineering/industrial engineering or quality management.
- Comprehensive working experience in Aerospace Quality.
- Proven track record of problem solving and continuous improvement methodologies (e. g., 8D, Six Sigma, Lean).
- Well-developed customer and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication, coaching and decision‑making skills in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
- Competency on relevant international regulations and standards (PART21, AS9100, etc.).
- Business acumen and understanding of the full value stream from manufacturing to aftermarket.
- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
