Cyber Defense Specialist (all genders welcome)
We are looking for a Cyber Defense Specialist to join our group-wide security operations team.
The role supports ROSEN Group in preventing economic damage by protecting intellectual property, customer value and jobs across our global operations.
Responsibilities
- Identify new cybersecurity threats and implement countermeasures for the entire ROSEN Group.
- Conduct regular penetration tests and implement structural measures to harden our system landscape.
- Support risk dialogue for Saa S applications, suppliers, and responses to security incidents.
- Act as the point of contact for all security aspects throughout the project lifecycle of international IT projects.
- Take on the technical management of IT projects with a focus on security and administer security products in business operations.
- Expand ROSEN’s ISMS with additional guidelines, instructions, and procedures.
- Protect the company's global business operations and report to the group's CISO.
Requirements
- Degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Over 4 years of experience in information security.
- Advanced knowledge of IT security and IT risk management.
- Professional experience operating one or more security products.
- Interest in continuous professional development (e. g., via training courses or conference attendance).
- Good communication skills in English and German (spoken and written).
- True team player; resilient and able to maintain calm under pressure.
