Head of Lifecycle & Support for Service Line Challenging Solutions (all genders welcome)CIDLocation: LingenApply nowWhat you can expectWe are looking to fill the role ofHead of Lifecycle & Support for Service Line Challenging Solutions (all genders welcome)The Head of Lifecycle & Support leads the end‑to‑end service lifecycle and service support for the Service Line Challenging Solutions within the Challenging Integrity Division, ensuring effective 2nd and 3rd level support, strong lifecycle management, and seamless handovers between R&D, Head of Commercial and Heads of Operations on an international level.This function holds cross‑functional responsibility, management of resources and ensures budget accountability aligned with lifecycle and support outcomes. It enables close collaboration with R&D and product areas, contributes to M&T sessions for programs influencing the service, and systematically feeds lessons learned from support back into roadmaps and requirements.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead service lifecycle for the Service Line Challenging Solutions: establish, maintain, and improve processes from market introduction through maintenance, enhancement, and retirement, ensuring traceability and proactive risk managementDefine the operating model for 2nd Level support and align management of 3rd level Support with product area/R&D: organize the escalation chain, clarify ownership, and ensure timely, high‑quality resolution of complex cases; reduce recurring effort via knowledge capture and improvementsTranslate business strategy into near‑term tactics through the Service Managers incl. capacity/CAPEX needs for Lifecycle & Support (rolling ~12–18 months), ensuring delivery within agreed quality, time, and cost; contribute to longer‑horizon roadmapsEstablish framework for service readiness and create transparency for related service landscapeAdminister service roadmaps for the service lifecycle aspects; provide structured input to requirements management for development projects and support needs (e.g., diagnostic algorithms, workflows, tools)Consolidate field feedback & support insights into improvement backlogs; define target TRLs for technical systems to enable handover into lifecycle management and reduce downstream support effortEnsure smooth transition of new technologies and solutions from R&D into Operations and Lifecycle Management, establishing clear readiness criteria and sustainable support structuresDefine and ensure conditions for complaint‑free application against performance‑relevant regulations; monitor compliance and initiate corrective actionsMonitor service processes, procedures, and work instructions; maintain the commercial/operating framework in line with the business line’s strategyLead dependency management across Divisions and R&D for cross‑functional deliveries; actively participate in M&T sessions to drive decisions and alignmentPlan and monitor budget, capacity, and capabilities for lifecycle and support, including qualification requirements and resourcing requestsEstablish continuous improvement using service metrics; institutionalize lessons learned and best practices across regions/process stepsEnsure adherence to health, safety, quality, and sustainability requirements throughout service delivery and supportLead, coach, and develop a multidisciplinary team of Service Managers and specialists, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous learningWhat you will bringBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Business; advanced degree advantageous for complex lifecycle and support environments8+ years of progressive experience across service lifecycle, application support, or adjacent operations (e.g., delivery, quality, product/application management) within the pipeline or related industry; experience working at the interfaces with stakeholders (e.g., GBLM)3–5+ years of leadership experience managing multidisciplinary teams and steering cross‑functional initiativesExperience in contributing to or running service strategies and achieving defined performance targetsExpertise in Service lifecycle management intelligence, including roadmap administration, change management, and structured requirements input to developmentExperience in Support and escalation frameworkFamiliarity with compliance and quality systemsBusiness acumen in service portfolio management (commercial models, process efficiency, and performance tracking)Strong program/project management and dependency management skillsFluent in written and spoken EnglishWhat we offerDevelopment opportunities and career opportunities in a global, innovative and long-term oriented group of companies with family characterFlexible working hours & working time accounts as well as partial home office for a good work-life balance (38 hours/week)An open, informal corporate culture, where we celebrate success with social eventsCompatibility of work and family through our company-owned bilingual day care center ROKIDS as well as our bilingual elementary school ROBIGS (optional: day care during the holiday)Employer funded pension and capital accumulation benefitsCompany Restaurant (only in Lingen) and fresh fruit is available dailyVarious in-house sports activities (EGYM Wellpass and other offers)Attractive leasing offers for IT-products and bikes for private useCorporate Benefits - employee offers in changing online shops at top conditionsWho we are
