Your profile
- University degree in engineering, chemistry or mathematics
- At best, specialisation in refinery technology, plant engineering, chemistry or mechanical engineering
- Ideally, practical experience in a refinery, in production planning / plant engineeringand/or in process optimisation
- Very good analytical andcommunication skills
- Business fluent English and, ideally, a good level of German
- Advanced Excel skills and basic programming skills
Your tasks
- Planning/optimisation of refineries to achieve the best possible refinery margin
- Creation of weekly plans and LP models
- Close cooperation with purchasing and sales to realise potential, and with the refinery to eliminate bottlenecks
- Conducting project evaluations and backcastings
- Close cooperation with the refineries' production planners
