Your tasks
- Management of incoming sustainability certificates (PoS) from biofuel suppliers
- Finalization of the monthly biomass balances for refineries and terminals in VTA CEEMAS
- Responsibility for the preparation, coordination and successful execution of the regular ISCC certification, including the management and support of the annual audits and recertifications.
- Coordination with the commercial departments regarding contracts, sustainability requirements and the evaluation of supplier performance.
- Contributing to forecasts and reporting on biofuel commitments and bio-related revenue streams.
- Advising renewables traders on acquiring optimal greenhouse gas savings.
- Support in fulfilling organic requirements in export countries and at the national level, as well as the coordination of their internal implementation through close cooperation with IT and specialist departments.
- Monitoring of regulatory developments at the German and European level in the field of sustainability and renewable energies, as well as communication with authorities, associations and other relevant stakeholders.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the fields of economics, science or engineering
- Very good German and English skills
- Good analytical and communication skills
- Experience with MS Office, ideally with SAP and VTA CEEMAS
- Prior experience in the fields of biofuels, greenhouse gas quotas and/or the oil and gas industry is desirable.
- Understanding of relevant laws at German and EU level, as well as knowledge of the biofuels market and CO2 certificate trading, is advantageous.
