Reports to: Team Lead – Service Technicians
Overview
Carrying out the annual maintenance of all Spidercam systems in Germany and abroad (rental, fixed installations, special systems (FPP). Carrying out upgrades, repairs, support cases and cable replacements including all the associated preparations.
Duties, Responsibilities and Accountability:
Administrative Activities:
- Documentation
- Warehouse management
- Communication with customers, partners, suppliers and internal departments
Maintenance Work:
- Mechanical and electrical check
- Carrying out safety-related tests
- International damage and fault repairs (support hotline)
- Implementation of upgrades (HW/SW), repairs
- Independent error analysis and correction
Mechanical Work:
- Drilling, cutting, filing
Electrical Work:
Technician on job
Job Requirements:
Knowledge/Education/Training/Experience:
- Technical College (in Electrical engineering, mechatronics, electronics)
- Min. 2 years of relevant work experience desired
- Programming knowledge is an advantage (PLC)
- Knowledge of Beckhoff TwinCat 2,3 is an advantage
- Office package
- Network knowledge
- Good operating system knowledge (MS Windows)
- Knowledge of signal processing (optical, electrical)
- Very good knowledge of German and English
- Basic knowledge of CAD
- Technology affinity
- Team player
- Safe, accurate and independent work
- Stress resistant/resilient
- Traveling
- Communicative
- High willingness to learn
- Analytical thinking
