The successful candidate is a structured, analytical and self-driven investment professional who enjoys taking ownership and thrives in a dynamic and collaborative environment.ResponsibilitiesPortfolio management responsibilities for fixed income mandates and fundsParticipate in client portfolio reviews and support business development activities with Client AdvisorsBuild and maintain close working relationships with key stakeholders, including the Multi-Asset Portfolio Management Team, Client Advisors and clientsSupport the production of communication materialPlay an active role in the fixed income research process by generating investment ideas and contributing to portfolio construction decisions, e.g.: Generate investment ideas on issuer and at security levels Economic research, including but not limited to performing macro and rates analysisDevelop and enhance quantitative tools supporting the Fixed Income investment platformParticipate in ad-hoc projectsEducation and QualificationsUniversity Degree CFA, FRM, CAIIA or similar designation preferredExperience, Skills and Competencies Required2-5 years of relevant experience in Fixed Income Portfolio Management, including experience in taking investment decisions for individual fixed income instrumentsAnalytical and research skills (economics / rates / credit)Strong quantitative and modelling skillsHigh degree of reliability and precision, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.Proactive and hands-on approach, strong sense of ownership, commitment to continuous learning and process improvement, high ethical standards and a collaborative mindsetExcellent communication skills in German and English; French would be an advantageExcellent IT skills, including advanced Excel proficiencyExperience with Avaloq and programming skills (e.g. Python) would be advantageousBenefitsRothschild & Co is committed to safeguarding and enhancing the health and wellbeing of all its employees.
