Job Description
For this position, you are required to be on-site daily Monday to Friday, in Sinzig.
In addition, you must be fluent in German, be within commutable distance to the site and possess a Fork Lift Licence.
- Goods receipt & quality inspection (quantity and quality)
- Storage of parts while taking into account efficient warehouse management and the storage system
- Material provision and testing according to material withdrawal slips
- Picking, assembling load units and preparing accompanying documents
- Professional and proper packaging of goods and merchandise
- Care and maintenance of packaging tools and equipment
- Marking, labelling and securing shipments in compliance with legal requirements
- Recording and posting of warehouse or production-relevant data in the ERP system
- Loading and unloading activities
- Inventories and inventory controls
- Planning the warehouse organization and structure Inventory monitoring and optimization in cooperation with purchasing
- Creation, processing and follow-up of supplier complaints, correspondence with suppliers inside and outside the company, nationally and internationally
- Other reasonable activities within the scope of operational necessities
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as a warehouse logistics specialist
- Sound experience in the described field of activity
- Valid forklift license and sufficient driving experience
- Confident handling of IT
- Flexibility, communication and teamwork skills
- Good knowledge of the German language, both written and spoken
- Knowledge of English is an advantage
- Structured, proactive working style and organizational skills
- Independent and service-oriented way of working as well as a sense of responsibility
