We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our Safety ML team, responsible for building and maintaining machine learning systems that protect over 200 million users. The role involves overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of safety models, driving technical strategy, and collaborating across Trust & Safety, Product, Policy, Legal, and Data Science. You will manage a team of ML engineers, foster ownership and impact, and ensure high-quality model deployment at scale. Key responsibilities include defining new capabilities, measuring performance, and improving operational health of systems that make millions of enforcement decisions daily.The ideal candidate has 5+ years as a Machine Learning Engineer or Data Scientist, 3+ years as an Engineering Manager leading 5+ engineers, and hands-on experience in abuse detection, content classification, or similar areas. Strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and problem-solving skills are essential. You should have a track record of deploying scalable ML systems and be passionate about coaching engineers while contributing technically when needed.
