Assuming technical and organizational leadership of the purchasing department, which consists of a team of five employees.
Developing and implementing a forward-looking procurement strategy.
Ensuring the cost-efficient and timely procurement of raw materials, additives, and packaging materials with an annual purchasing volume of over 50 million euros.
Establishing, maintaining, and further developing strategic supplier relationships.
Identifying and realizing cost optimization and savings potential.
Analyzing procurement markets and assessing risks in the supply chain.
Regular participation in international trade fairs and exhibitions.
Your profile A successfully completed degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification.
Several years of professional experience in strategic and operational procurement at a manufacturing company, ideally in the plastics, chemical, or process industries.
Strong affinity for plastics and polymer materials.
Proven experience leading employees and teams, combined with a cooperative, team oriented mindset.
Excellent understanding of supply chains, raw material markets, and procurement strategies.
Proficiency in using ERP systems and standard Microsoft Office applications.
Fluency in German and very good English skills.
Willingness to travel internationally, particularly within Asia.
