Overview
Senior Project Manager (MCF/Data Centres) leads multinational, multi-stakeholder data centre projects from development to delivery. You coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project controls, and nurture client relationships to deliver integrated design and engineering solutions. The role requires international travel and focus on German projects within a global MCF team, driving sustainable, profitable outcomes. You will shape end-to-end delivery for mission-critical facilities and act as a trusted advisor to clients.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Manage large-scale, multi-stakeholder projects through full life cycle for international clients
- Develop and lead project development and delivery teams
- Initiate and scope projects with clients, coordinate inputs, assess solutions, prepare briefs and business cases, obtain approvals
- Oversee project controls: planning, cost control, administration, and contract management
- Operate in an international context with expected travel
- Lead projects with short lead times, with a focus on German projects
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and develop mitigation plans
- Coordinate internal and external resources (team members, vendors, subcontractors) for seamless execution
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Entrepreneurial, results-driven mindset with proactive problem-solving
- Professional project management qualifications; IPMA or Prince+ desirable
- Proven track record managing medium to large-scale projects in international contexts
- Robust international network in relevant industries
- Global mindset and willingness to undertake varied assignments (short/medium/long-term)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to mentor staff
- Strong business acumen with focus on client relationships and profitability
- Awareness of international standards; commitment to health, safety, and sustainability
- Technical University background (civil, mechanical, or electrical)
- 6+ years in multidisciplinary design/engineering/construction projects (preferably data centres)
- Affinity with digital/automated design (BIM360, CDE)
- Fluent in English and German
- Previous employment by a design/engineering company advantageous
