Overview
In this Design Manager role, you drive integrated design for data centre projects within the Mission Critical Facilities team, collaborating with global experts. You steer design scope, budget, schedules and cross-disciplinary coordination to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions. You work with demanding clients and leverage digital design tools to optimize outcomes. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Manage scope-of-work, design budget and contract documents for each project
- Update and monitor design delivery schedule and allocate workload within the team
- Coordinate and optimize design with multi-disciplinary teams and external parties
- Lead and challenge design solutions and changes
- Create and communicate innovative designs to client and team
- Contribute to internal process optimization and knowledge sharing
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Master in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience managing multidisciplinary design, engineering, and construction projects (preferably data centres)
- Affinity with digital and automated design/engineering processes (BIM360, CDE)
- Good knowledge of standard design/construction practices and understanding of clients’ daily operations
- Excellent communication skills in English and German
- Based in Zurich with willingness to travel
