The department Controlling & Investments supports the RTL Group Executive Committee, primarily the CFO, in the strategic management of the global RTL Group. Its key tasks include analyzing the performance of portfolio companies and evaluating investments, divestments, and strategic business initiatives.

Your Responsibilities

• Prepare the management reporting for actuals, forecasts and budgets and implement processes and tools to monitor and steer the financial performance of RTL Group and its subsidiaries.
• Review reported financial information for consistency and quality and ensure alignment of internal and external reporting during quarterly closings in close collaboration with RTL Group Financial Reporting.
• Conduct the long‑term planning and budget planning of RTL Group and provide in‑depth analyses to the Management and Board.
• Develop and implement reporting solutions, processes and KPI frameworks to support Management decisions, supply financial data to other headquarter departments and ensure alignment of reporting standards with RTL Group’s subsidiaries.

Your Profile

• Excellent university degree in Business Administration, Economics or a related field, ideally with a focus on finance or accounting.
• Around 3‑5 years of professional experience in management reporting or finance controlling, also through internships.
• Strong analytical capabilities with attention to detail, high commitment and sound business judgment.
• Solid understanding of IFRS and financial reporting requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, a team‑player mindset and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments, businesses and territories.
• Advanced skills in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with finance systems and BI solutions; knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP Financial Consolidation, FluenceXL and OneStream is a strong plus.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in German and/or French language is a plus.
