Tasks
- Perform service, maintenance and inspection work on wind turbines in accordance with service manuals, work instructions and technical specifications
- Carrying out mechanical and electrical tests, as well as monitoring and inspecting components such as generators, switchboards, transformers, earthing systems and safety devices
- Conduct minor repairs and fault rectification independently, as well as implementing retrofits and technical upgrades
- Switching wind turbines and transformers to maintenance mode and ensuring their safe recommissioning once work has been completed
- Communication with operators, site managers and the service office through daily check-ins and check-outs, as well as providing prompt feedback in the event of faults, delays or deviations from the order schedule
- Ensuring compliance with quality, health and safety, and HSE requirements, as well as maintaining assigned vehicles, tools and personal protective equipment
Profile
- Completed technical vocational training, e.g. as an electronics technician, mechatronics technician or equivalent qualification
- Experience in the maintenance, servicing or repair of wind turbines
- Valid GWO standard training courses
- Enercon Major Maintenance ISP Training
- Annual Training for Switching Authorisation for MV Transformers ISP
