Your Team
You will join a dynamic team with a site of 70 people where your role will be to ensure seamless design enabling efficient production and timely delivery of our products. We are a diverse team, rich in experiences and different personalities, all united to help grow both the individuals and the company.
Your Mission
The Mechatronic Engineer is the technical lead for electromechanical products.
He/She develops robust, compliant, and cost-effective technical solutions. He/She is also specialized in designing printed circuit boards (PCBs).
- Technical authority on projects: Assume full technical responsibility for electromechanical products throughout the development cycle and during mass production.
- PCB design: Create multilayer PCBs optimizing performance (impedance, signal isolation, RF) while adhering to mechanical and electrical constraints.
- Technical solutions development: Based on customer specifications, develop robust and economically viable technical solutions that meet electrical, thermal, and RF performance requirements.
- Requirements management: Verify and manage customer requirements, translate them into detailed technical specifications, and maintain verification control documents (VCD).
- Technical documentation: Write comprehensive technical documentation, including design descriptions, user manuals, test specifications, and manufacturing procedures.
- RF simulations and testing management: Perform RF and EMI/EMC simulations to ensure signal integrity and conduct validation tests (measuring RF parameters: IL/RL).
- Technical support and R&D: Participate in defining the R&D roadmap for strategic electronic developments and provide technical support to sales and marketing teams.
- External relations management: Ensure the interface with customers and suppliers on technical aspects of products, managing discussions related to requirements, non-conformities, and waiver requests.
- Experience capitalization: Integrate feedback into the continuous improvement of products and processes.
Your Background
- Education: Degree in electronics, mechatronics, or control systems (EPF, HES, Master or equivalent).
- Professional experience: 5 to 7 years of experience in PCB design using Altium Designer and interdisciplinary engineering (demanding applications such as aerospace, scientific instruments, military, etc.)
- Proficiency in RF simulation tools (Ansys HFSS, ADS) and RF measurement instruments (spectrum analyzers, IL/RL).
- Knowledge of electromechanical system design and thermal management.
- Experience using National Instruments hardware and LabView.
- Proficiency in PCB design with Altium Designer or equivalent.
- Experience in designing slip rings.
- Proficiency in multiphysics tools and signal transfer technologies (Ethernet, video).
- Expertise in reliability analysis, thermal design, or vacuum technologies.
- Ability to work in an organized manner, methodically analyzing complex problems.
- Flexibility and creativity in approaching changes and technical challenges.
- Commitment to delivering performance-focused solutions while meeting deadlines.
- Ability to encourage and guide team members, communicating strategies clearly and inspiringly.
- Collaborative attitude with internal and external stakeholders, fostering direct and respectful communication.
