You'll bring your expertise to a highly secure environment where reliable IT infrastructure is essential and your work directly contributes to the security of Switzerland. /ph3System Engineer / TPL – Short Medium Range Air Surveillance /h3h3What you can do /h3ulliLead the overall project for establishing RUAG's MRO, integration, simulation, and operational support capabilities. /liliTake responsibility for project scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, and deliverables. /liliAct as the technical point of contact and subject-matter expert throughout system introduction, transition into service, operation, and maintenance. /liliLead interdisciplinary activities across Engineering, Logistics, Maintenance, Business Development, Sales, OEMs, suppliers, and customer-facing organizations. /liliEstablish the required system knowledge, diagnostic methods, processes, infrastructure, tooling, documentation, training, and support concepts. /liliLead technical knowledge transfer and industrial cooperation with OEMs and suppliers, including offset-related activities. /liliLead and support integration, verification, acceptance, commissioning, troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and root-cause analysis. /liliTranslate technical and operational customer needs into effective maintenance, integration, simulation, and support solutions. /liliLead the development of business opportunities, tenders, technical concepts, effort estimations, and offer inputs together with Business Development and Sales. /liliEnsure compliance with technical, contractual, quality, safety, security, and regulatory requirements. /li /ulh3What you bring /h3ulliMaster's degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Electronics, Physics, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline. /liliSeveral years of experience in leading complex technical projects in radar, sensors, surveillance, RF technologies, or other mission-critical environments. /liliSolid project management expertise, preferably with IPMA B or C, PMI, HERMES, or comparable certification. /liliProven experience in system engineering, integration, maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, or support of complex technical systems. /liliStrong technical understanding and the ability to translate system expertise into customer value and sustainable support solutions. /liliStrong business awareness and experience in leading technical business development activities. /liliExcellent leadership, communication, coordination, and stakeholder-management skills. /liliExperience with Python, Linux and/or Windows, simulation environments, and common radar data format such as ASTERIX /liliFluent in German and English; French is a strong asset. /liliWillingness to travel regularly within Switzerland and occasionally abroad. /liliEligible to Swiss security clearance /li /ulpWe are always looking for talented and motivated individuals who would like to contribute to our team.
