Overview
In this role you implement, configure, operate and support CAD tools used in mechanical design and product development. You will work with CATIA V5 and NX, ensuring reliable deployment and integration with PLM systems while assisting end users across a global engineering community. You contribute to ongoing improvements in design processes, system stability and data integrity in a high-tech, international environment. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role with opportunities to grow your technical and domain expertise.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Deliver, configure and customize CATIA V5 and NX to meet business requirements
- Provide L1/L2/L3 CAD support with root cause analysis and system stabilization
- Support management of product structures and Design BOMs
- Assist with minor enhancements and configuration changes
- Support CAD integrations with Teamcenter and optimize CAD–PLM usage
- Troubleshoot CAD-related issues affecting product data, revisions or releases
- Collaborate with CAD app owners and engineering teams to ensure efficient CAD–PLM usage
- Contribute to digital thread initiatives (PLM–MES–ERP alignment)
- Support testing (UAT/system testing) and release cycles
- Maintain documentation and provide training to key users
- Drive continuous improvement of design processes within CATIA V5 and NX
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Degree in Engineering, IT, or related field
- Strong experience with CATIA V5 and/or NX configuration, operations and support
- Solid understanding of CAD processes
- Product structures / Design BOM management
- Change management / lifecycle
- Experience in application support (L1/L2/L3)
- Basic understanding of system integrations (PLM)
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
