Overview
In this role you will lead highly complex analysis activities for critical sub-systems, acting as the technical reference within project teams. You will train and review colleagues, drive innovative analysis methods, and own a discipline segment to boost efficiency and performance. You’ll coordinate across functions and contribute to product family development and continuous improvement. This is a hands-on position with visible impact on mission-critical structures.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Lead advanced finite element analysis and develop mathematical models for static and dynamic problems
- Define and review analysis methods, perform test predictions and correlations
- Coach and supervise 3–4 team members, and own technical leadership within the discipline
- Account for product development, production support, and innovation across a product family
- Participate in NRBs, drive root-cause analyses and implement corrective measures
- Coordinate cross-functionally with operations, quality, procurement and other disciplines
- Contribute to proposal/bid activities and technical roadmaps in collaboration with the team
- Prepare and review technical documentation and project deliverables
- Manage tasks with budget, schedule, and prioritization responsibilities
- Represent the engineering field in customer and supplier negotiations
- Lead training initiatives and develop learning materials
- Ensure standardization and knowledge transfer within the field
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Master in mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering (or equivalent)
- Minimum 12 years’ experience in aerospace with FE analysis (MSC NASTRAN, Altair HyperWorks OptiStruct, Abaqus)
- Proven static/dynamic/non-linear analysis, fatigue and damage tolerance, shock analysis
- Experience with NASTRAN, OptiStruct, ABAQUS solvers and test prediction/correlation
- Advanced knowledge in aerospace structural methods and detailed stress analysis
- Experience with payload fairing, launchers or satellite structures (nice to have)
- Leadership experience and track record coaching engineers
