Senior Software Engineer C# – External Customer IT (d/f/m)

We are looking for new members to join our young and growing IT team. As part of the IT department, our focus is on software development. We offer companies with a high demand for energy/gas/emissions customized IT solutions to manage their energy portfolios. In this context, the importance of decentralised power generation, particularly through renewable sources and their efficient use, is constantly increasing. Our applications are also used by colleagues outside of IT to support our external customers. Our solutions include functionalities for forecasting and planning, real-time calculation, data visualisation and analysis, contract configuration, and automated trading, among others.

The team currently comprises 30 members and is organised in four agile squads. As a team, we always have the ambition to be well-positioned in all areas in the spirit of t-shaping. That’s why we’re not looking for a single profile. Rather, we value passion, a willingness to learn, and a good and reliable work ethic. If you think you have extensive experience in one or two of the following areas, you have sparked our interest.

Your Profile

• Developing backend services in C#
• Creating and customizing automated tests
• Developing Angular-based interfaces with our Material Design-based team/company library
• Prototyping of new developments in Figma
• Automating our AWS platform and deployment pipelines (Terraform, Helm)
• Operating and providing support for our IT solutions
• Increasing the security standards of our applications
• Architectural planning of our solutions
• A degree in computer science, mathematics, business informatics or similar
• In-depth knowledge of C# and SQL
• Practical experience in front-end development
• Confident handling of GIT or similar versioning tools
• Experience with cloud technologies and concepts
• Strong analytical skills and a structured approach
• High quality awareness when implementing software solutions
• Experience working in a team that uses agile methods such as Scrum or Kanban
• Most of our meetings and e-mails are in English, so you should be ready for this both orally and in writing
