Job Overview

Ryanair is currently recruiting for a Head of Public Affairs to join Europe’s largest airline group. This is an excellent opportunity as we aim to expand to over 800 aircraft and 300 million guests annually within the next 10 years. All applications must be submitted in English by 21 May 2025.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and identify legislative proposals and issues affecting the Company in Germany.
• Develop and advocate public policy positions.
• Prepare briefing materials, position papers, and presentations for stakeholders, regulators, and senior management.
• Build and maintain a stakeholder network across Germany.
• Represent Ryanair in meetings with stakeholders and trade associations.
• Organize outreach and policy events.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in public affairs roles.
• Familiarity with the aviation industry is advantageous.
• Master’s degree in law, political science, international relations, or a related field.
• Native or professional proficiency in German and English.
• Knowledge of German decision-making processes and institutions.
• Experience drafting high-quality documents for stakeholders, executives, and politicians.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
• Established or ability to develop a network with policymakers and stakeholders.
