Senior Software Engineer to join one of our client’s teams, from the sports merchandising industry!
We’re looking for a
Senior Software Engineer to contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of applications.
You’ll help build and evolve a service-oriented, event-driven ecosystem of applications that position their teams to make the most informed decisions about the products they are releasing to their fans.
Their stack primarily uses Elixir with the Phoenix Framework, Live View frontends, Postgre SQL databases, and an event-based system with Rabbit MQ.
They deploy on AWS EKS using Terraform and maintain continuous integration and deployment with Git Hub Actions.
- Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Elixir programming language and functional programming concepts.
- Experience building web applications with Phoenix or similar frameworks.
- Interest or experience in CQRS and evented systems.
- Familiarity with database systems and Postgre SQL
- Knowledge of web application security best practices.
- Experience with Git and working with a team (e. g. Pull Requests)
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience integrating legacy systems with modern platforms.
- What makes you stand out
- Experience with Live View is a plus.
- A portfolio or examples of previous Elixir Live View projects is a plus.
