Our client is a leading manufacturer of premium, low‑maintenance building materials, best known for replacing traditional wood with engineered, sustainable alternatives in outdoor living and exterior construction.

Headquartered in the US, they have an extensive presence across Europe and provide key clients with premium decking, railing, cladding, and outdoor systems.


Location and Work Model

Germany | Remote


Remuneration:

EUR 95,000 to 105,000 base


About the Role

The Technical Support & Training Manager is responsible for technical excellence, training standards, certification programs, and product compliance for products across European markets.

The role acts as a key technical and operational interface between:

  • European distributor network
  • Installer community
  • Sales and specification teams
  • Manufacturing and technical teams in the USA

There will be a strong focus on Germany and strategic European markets.


The role reports to the VP International Sales & Marketing, located in Czech Republic.


Key Responsibilities


Technical Support (Europe)

  • Act as the primary technical authority for products in Europe
  • Provide advanced technical support to:
  • European distributors
  • Installation companies
  • Internal sales and specification teams
  • Ensure correct product application, installation standards, and technical compliance
  • Support resolution of complex technical issues on site and remotely

Training & Installer Certification

  • Define, implement, and continuously improve European training and installer certification programs
  • Deliver professional technical trainings for:
  • Distributor sales teams
  • Installation companies
  • Internal commercial teams
  • Develop and maintain training materials, manuals, and technical documentation
  • Ensure consistency and quality of training content across Europe


Product Certification & Compliance (Europe)

  • Take full responsibility for product certification on European markets
  • Coordinate certification requirements (e.g. CE, local standards, approvals) across different European countries
  • Act as the main European contact for product certification
  • Work closely with the manufacturing and technical teams in the USA to:
  • Align product specifications with European requirements
  • Support testing, documentation, and certification processes
  • Implement product updates or changes required for European compliance
  • Ensure ongoing compliance of existing and new products in Europe


Sales Support & Installer Network Development (Germany)

  • Support German sales activities through technical expertise and training
  • Develop, expand, and structure the network of installation companies in Germany
  • Ensure installers are trained, certified, and technically supported
  • Support demand generation for the German distributor



Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master’s in a technical field and proven client-facing experience
  • Very good understanding of decking and cladding solutions and their customers across Europe
  • Commitment to staying updated with industry trends.
  • Fluent English & German


Preferred Qualifications

  • Working Knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook.
  • Flexibility to handle diverse challenges and environments.
