Description
SAIC is seeking a Senior Nuclear Emergency Response Exercise Planner to provide dedicated advisory and assistance services (A&AS) support to the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, Nuclear Enterprise Directorate, Nuclear Surety Department. The qualified candidate will organize, coordinate, execute, and provide support to Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) nuclear weapon accident incident (NWAI) response planning, training, education, and exercises. This position is in Kleber Kaserne, Kaiserslautern, Germany.
Primary Duties Include :
- Organize, coordinate, and facilitate Nuclear Weapon Accident Incident (NWAI) response training and exercises.
- Assist in the development, maintenance, and presentation of NWAI response courses.
- Integrate new and emerging technologies into NWAI training and exercises.
- Synchronize European NWAI lines of effort with partner nations.
- Analyze international agreements, plans, and other documents at the strategic, operational, and tactical levels of command.
- Align and integrate U.S. operational response plans with international response efforts for seamless cooperation.
- Review, validate, assess, and assist in the development of national and DoD NWAI response policy and procedures.
- Travel as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
