Overview
In this role you will shape identity strategy for high-value opportunities across EMEA, engaging executives to translate identity security into business outcomes. You’ll influence decision-makers early in the sales cycle, framing problems and aligning programmes with risk, regulation, and operational priorities. You work with cross-functional teams to build credible roadmaps and steer executive engagements, not just product demos. This is a consultative, advisory position that values clear business thinking and relationship-building across complex organisations.

- Shape strategy for complex, high-value opportunities early in the sales cycle
- Engage senior stakeholders to translate business drivers and regulatory needs into an identity security narrative
- Lead discovery and value conversations, defining problems and prioritising initiatives
- Help customers build credible identity roadmaps with measurable outcomes
- Support executive briefings and workshops to align stakeholders and build momentum
- Partner with Sales Engineers, TES and delivery teams to ensure the technical approach supports the business narrative
- Contribute to deal strategy where positioning and timing supersede feature comparisons
- Provide grounded feedback to product and GTM teams based on customer friction points
- Represent SailPoint at industry events as a speaker
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 10+ years in identity security with senior experience (CTO, CISO, Head of IAM or advisory role)
- Direct experience designing or implementing identity security programmes in large or regulated organisations
- Understanding of governance, access controls, audit/compliance, and operational challenges
- Strong ability to connect identity to broader security posture, regulatory frameworks, cloud transformation, and operational efficiency
- Proven experience leading conversations at C-level and influencing strategic direction
- Comfort with ambiguity and guiding discussions without a predefined problem statement
- Credibility with business and technical stakeholders; not hands-on, but able to challenge and guide
- Experience with or alongside partners (Big 4, global SIs, IAM consultancies) sought for collaborative programmes
