Overview
As Solution Engineering Manager you lead SailPoint’s solution engineering team in Germany to demonstrate and communicate the value of our Identity Governance products. You’ll shape the team, coaching engineers to drive customer success while collaborating with sales, product, and marketing. You’ll influence sales motions and tailor demonstrations to client needs, contributing to SailPoint’s growth and leadership in the security space. This role offers a chance to develop your leadership while advancing cutting-edge identity solutions at scale.

- Build, coach and drive a high-performing Solution Engineering team to meet goals
- Manage individual and team performance to maintain high standards
- Apply analytical and consulting skills to influence customer decisions across stakeholders
- Improve sales methodology and craft product presentations and demos tailored to audiences
- Identify training gaps and implement programs to raise sales, product and tech skills
- Collaborate with Regional Sales for account planning and strategy
- Provide timely input to field sales, product management and marketing
- Manage relationships with internal and external product teams and decision makers
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Strong understanding of SaaS solutions and how they operate
- Strong understanding or experience in Identity and key identity principles
- Experience with AI-driven solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and business audiences
- 5+ years as a sales engineering manager and 5+ years as a sales engineer
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science or global equivalent experience
- German and English proficiency are mandatory
