International Area Sales Manager (m/f/d) Austria, Switzerland and Italy
In this role, you will take ownership of a strategically important sales region and have the opportunity to shape SWISSPACER’s sustainable, profitable growth across Austria, Switzerland and Italy. You will build trusted relationships with direct customers, prospects and key accounts, identify new opportunities and bring commercial and technical expertise together to create real customer value.
- Shape the growth of your sales region and actively develop new business across Austria, Switzerland and Italy.
- Build trusted, long-term relationships with direct customers, prospects and key accounts.
- Turn market potential into measurable success by delivering sales, volume, margin and profitability targets.
- Lead customer negotiations, track performance and take the initiative when adjustments are needed.
- Collaborate with expert teams to deliver strong customer support, successful product launches and technical initiatives.
- Use CRM and market insights to manage opportunities, report effectively and ensure reliable payment follow-up.
- Be visible in the market and represent the company through customer visits, trade fairs and business reviews.
Is this job for you ?
You enjoy combining customer proximity, technical understanding and commercial responsibility. You bring proven B2B sales experience and strong knowledge of the glass processing industry, including insulating glass units and customer value drivers in Austria, Switzerland and/or Italy. You have successfully managed customers and key accounts, negotiated agreements, developed new business and steered sales performance, pricing, margins and profitability. You will thrive in this role if you are
- Enjoy turning market insights and commercial strategy into clear territory and customer plans.
- Work confidently with Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI and Office 365 and manage opportunities in a structured way.
- Communicate clearly, build strong relationships and make technical and commercial topics easy to understand.
- Value collaboration with colleagues in Sales, Customer Service, Technical Service, Marketing, Operations and Quality.
- Take initiative, focus on results and work independently while staying close to your customers.
- Are comfortable travelling extensively across Austria, Switzerland and Italy to stay close to the market.
- Are fluent in Italian and German and communicate confidently in business English; French is an advantage.
