We are seeking a strong candidate for the strategic role of Regional Sales Director for MuleSoft to lead a team of Account Executives responsible for developing and growing partnerships with our growth customers across Germany and Austria.
The RSD will lead a motivated team that generates revenue and meets quotas. You will contribute to the corporate sales strategy and define the plan to achieve organizational objectives. Ideal candidates should have solid B2B application sales experience, preferably in integration software, and some management background.
Your Impact
- Developing and growing partnerships with teams responsible for growth customers across Germany and Austria.
- Supporting Account Executives by participating in client meetings and engaging other resources as needed.
- Mentoring and developing the sales team, including recruiting, hiring, and training.
- Conducting weekly revenue forecast meetings for territories.
- Coaching Account Executives on strategies to increase closure rates and identify opportunities.
- Reporting on sales activity and monitoring team performance.
- Developing the Go-To-Market strategy for the territory.
- Identifying hiring needs and skills gaps within the sales team.
- Managing local and corporate MuleSoft events.
Basic Requirements
- Proven prospecting skills, opening new accounts, and developing existing ones.
- Ability to build relationships at C-Level and generate compelling PoVs.
- Deep knowledge of account development.
- Experience working with Salesforce/MuleSoft partners.
- Understanding of target markets, Salesforce and MuleSoft ecosystem dynamics, and competitors.
- Social skills and leadership experience, whether informal or formal.
- 7+ years in sales or sales leadership in IT.
- Strong software sales experience.
- Experience implementing management theories.
- Solid understanding of MuleSoft\’s offerings and IT discussions.
- Knowledge of Security & Privacy in MuleSoft platform.
- Fluency in English and German.
