SAP MDG Consultant

Salt is currently hiring a SAP MDG Consultant in Germany for one of our clients.

We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG Consultant with a strong background in Master Data Governance to join a project focused on financial master data in an S/4HANA environment. This is a freelance contract role based in Germany, with a requirement for onsite presence 3 days a week (with some flexibility over time). We can consider any candidates who are based in Europe and who can be on site in Germany 2/3 days each week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement MDG governance models for financial master data.
• Work with S/4HANA, focusing on financial modules such as FI/CO, Bank Master, and SWIFT codes.
• Analyze data governance challenges and propose strategic solutions.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to define governance processes and best practices.
• Provide expert consultation and analysis to optimize the data governance framework.

Requirements:

• Proven experience working with SAP MDG, particularly with financial master data.
• Strong understanding of MDG governance models, workflows, and approval processes.
• Expertise in S/4HANA, FI/CO, Bank Master, and SWIFT codes.
• Ability to analyze and address data governance challenges effectively.
• Consultative mindset and strong stakeholder management skills.
• English-speaking role (German proficiency not required).

Location & Working Model:

• Onsite in NRW/Germany (Tuesday to Thursday, 3 days per week).
• Some flexibility regarding onsite presence as the contract progresses.
