What is Embat?
Embat is one of the fastest growing startups in Europe, born in Spain in 2021 to design the best way for medium and large sized enterprises to plan their finances and monitor their cash flow in real time. Our mission is to build a product (SaaS) that leverages technology and excellent client experience to empower our clients to make the best business decisions by accessing the best financial information, 100x more efficiently than using Excel files.

What are we looking for?
As a DACH Finance Account Executive, you will be a proven sales professional who speaks the language of finance teams, understanding their needs and financial products. Your focus will be on mid-market and enterprise customers, managing both short cycle and long cycle sales (typically from 2-4 months). You should be able to articulate our value proposition to CFOs, Heads of Finance, Treasurers, or similar decision makers.
What will you do?
- Understand the needs of finance teams regarding treasury management and articulate the value that Embat brings to them.
- Manage inbound leads and the entire sales & retention process for mid and large size businesses.
- Generate your own leads through targeted outbound campaigns.
- Manage multiple stakeholders and multitask effectively.
- Communicate with C-level executives and senior managers (CFOs, Head of Finance, Head of Treasury, etc.).
- Travel as needed to meet clients and represent Embat in events, talks, and webinars.
What are we looking for?
- Perseverant: You maintain professional and engaging dialogue even when users are initially unresponsive.
- Experienced: 4+ years in customer-related roles (sales and/or client relationship management) with an understanding of B2B software solutions and finance.
- Team player: “We” is always before “I”.
- Native German speaker and fluent in English.
You’ll be our ideal candidate if you have:
- Experience with sales prospecting tools and CRMs (Hubspot preferably).
- Experience selling B2B SaaS software for finance departments.
- Experience in startup environments.
