EHS Coordinator (m/f/d)

We are growing our EHS structure as part of SDSE (Europe), global business growth. Therefore, we are looking for an EHS Coordinator (m/f/d) at the earliest possible date.

Aufgaben

• Implement safety and health activities in accordance with national regulations and SDS Standards / Policies
• Support risk assessment, management and control practices at the workplaces.
• provide advice to management on the steps required to be taken for the occupational safety and health of the employees and contractors
• Coordinate and support the EHS Committee and H&S officers per locations
• Support initial response and reporting in case of an accident and conduct investigation with sites Teams
• Inspect and ensure the proper use of work attire, protective equipment and safety devices for affiliated workers
• Perform other tasks necessary to ensure the safety and health of affiliated workers like inspections, trainings etc.

Qualifikation

• Bachelor or Master degree in engineering or science with a focus on safety paired with \“Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit\“ certification
• 4-5 years’ experience in the Logistics field
• Experience in implementing and managing safety systems, conducting risk assessments, and delivering training
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and German
• Knowledge on Country compliance including the relevant EUOSHA directives
• Experience in establishing safety management program at site level and country level
• Knowledge of relevant safety standards, such as ISO 45001, ISO 14001 Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and specific safety requirements of the logistics and warehousing industry
