Supervisor Transport Operations (m/f/d)

Aufgaben

• Lead the transport operations team and manage the physical outbound distribution to DACH region and Eastern Europe, in order to deliver goods according to contractual agreements
• Create and provide proper KPI reports to customer and Management
• Main contact for customer and LSPs
• Optimize Transports regarding efficiency and costs
• Monitor On Time Delivery Rates
• Improve internal processes and procedures
• Organize the physical outbound operations out of German DCs
• Order Management including delivery planning
• Communication with the origin warehouses and slot bookings
• Coordinate LSPs
• Update and work in TMS System

Qualifikation

• Vocational Training as “Kauffrau/-mann für Spedition und Logistikdienstleistungen“ or similar degree
• Minimum of 6-8 years in Logistics Forwarding Industry
• First experience in leading a team
• Good knowledge of the common MS Office Tools (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
• Good communication skills in English and German language is mandatory
• Experience in working with TMS tools and managing KPI reports
