WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
This internship will provide you with a unique place to acquire deep insight on corporate and financial markets. Therefore, it constitutes a gateway for international opportunities. As part of the M&A team, you gain experience and work on projects across our German-speaking client base:
- Assisting senior bankers on creating M&A business opportunities
- Creating transaction marketing materials, including roadshow presentations and pitch books
- Conducting industry and company research and analysis
- Gaining varied industry and transaction expertise, as well as staying current on industry developments
- Participating in the preparation and execution of transactions
- Gaining an understanding and developing company valuations and financial models
EXPERIENCE
Ideally, first work experience gained (preferably in activities related to M&A, corporate banking coverage).
EDUCATION
Strong academic track record (preferably in business administration, finance, accounting and/or economics).
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Motivated, strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, a team player.
- Highly proficient in spoken and written German and fluent in English.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Commitment to Banco Santander's high ethical standards.
Our internships last preferably at least six months. The precise period will be arranged individually. Please attach a copy of your supporting documentation in English and indicate your availability.
