WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As a Middle Office Associate, you will do the administration, monitoring and control of trade transactions such as direct and indirect guarantees, SBLCs, import and export letters of credit booked in the Frankfurt Branch. We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:
- Administration and control of all trade transactions booked in the Frankfurt Branch: checking contracts and collecting right authorizations (legal, risk, compliance / financial crime, authorized signatures ...).
- Preparation of closing Memo and filing of all the applicable documentation.
- Control of any applicable Precedent Conditions (Cps) in our transactions to start operations.
- Support the operations´ workflow for both current and new products (e.g. trade).
- Monitoring and reporting of customers risks position, follow-up billing process and/or any reconciliation items related to.
- Support the implementation of Frankfurt's key strategic initiatives affecting these products family.
EXPERIENCE
5+ years of experience in Trade and Working Capital Solutions. Previous experience in a product sales team, middle-office or back-office will be considered as a plus.
EDUCATION
University degree in Economics/ Business Administration or equivalent.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Conversant with financial trade and receivables contracts as well as economic terms of the transactions. High level of German and Spanish, advanced level of English. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite Office.
OTHER INFORMATION
Team player. Able to build and maintain a good network of contacts (locally and across different geographies). Able to work in a team and under pressure with tight schedules, high risk culture. Able to work accurately and apply prioritisation.
