Junior Research And Development Engineer in Bedburg

We are looking for you as a Junior R&D Engineer to join our multicultural R&D team located at the SANY Europe Headquarter in Bedburg (Germany). You will play a key role in defining concepts for our range of European Construction Equipment products, focusing on Hydraulic Excavators. You will be exposed to both Chinese and European Work environments and cultures, where you play an important role in the collaboration with our R&D centers in China and other countries.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate in cross-functional teams to define product specifications for new product launches
• Research and identify innovative design solutions for both new and existing products
• Collect VoC (Voice of Customer) and market trends at all European regions
• Evaluate new products to ensure compliance with CE requirements and regulatory standards
• Prepare technical meetings and support driving technical discussions to keep the international collaborating teams focused and aligned
• Support practical benchmarking and market-readiness evaluations on our test field.

Qualifications

• Master or Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a close related field, from a European university
• Minimum of 2-year experience with the design of mobile equipment
• Profound knowledge in hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems
• Good proficiency in CAD software (3D & 2D design experience)
• Self-driven, with good communication skills and an ability to close collaborate with international, intercultural teams
• Strong grasp of the Chinese and European culture and working environment
• Fluent in both Chinese and English, preferrably also in German
• Availability for business required international travel.
