Position Overview
Responsible for developing the strategy and product roadmap for compaction equipment in the European market.
Drive product development and distribution through in-depth market analysis and customer preference insights to achieve business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement a long-term product strategy to optimize the market performance and commercial success of the compaction product line.
- Market & Customer Insights: Conduct market analysis to understand customer requirements and needs, and translate them into actionable inputs for product development.
- Product Development & Testing: Work closely with the R&D team to drive product improvements and innovations; conduct thorough testing and evaluation of prototypes to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
- Lifecycle Management: Monitor the full product lifecycle and identify opportunities to enhance competitiveness and profitability.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Ensure clear and effective communication with internal teams (e. g., R&D, Production, Sales) as well as external partners and customers.
- Sales & Marketing Support: Develop marketing and sales strategies to support new product launches and drive sales growth of the compaction product line.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Demonstrated experience in product management, preferably in the asphalt compaction or construction equipment sector.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the asphalt industry as well as the requirements and standards of the construction sector.
