What you'll do
As a part of the Cloud ERP UX Engineering - Fiori tools team you will:
- Work in a multi-disciplinary team and help building and delivering tools and building blocks that are fundamental to drive the adoption of SAP Fiori
- Focus on developing in TypeScript / JavaScript and Web-based system environments (UIs, APIs)
- Closely collaborate with other development, design, and infrastructure teams within SAP to align new concepts and features
- Implement new and improved functions for SAP Fiori tools
- Work with agile software methodologies, such as test-driven development, continuous integration, team ownership and more
What you bring
- Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
- Preferred fields of study: Computer Science or a related discipline
- Language skills: English, German as a plus
- Good knowledge in web technologies, preferably TypeScript and NodeJS
- Knowledge of the development and the architecture of client-side web frameworks is a plus
- Strong analytical skills
- Team player with good communication skills and high commitment to quality, reliability, and a self-motivated working style
- Flexibility and ability to learn new subject matter quickly

As part of the Cloud ERP User Experience Team, UX Engineering leads activities across different organizations to provide all needed building blocks to scale the adoption of SAP Fiori and accelerate the speed of bringing UX innovation into the hands of our customers. With our Fiori elements floorplans and tools we enable thousands of developers across the world to build desirable and reliable applications with the highest possible quality. The Fiori tools development team is part of this organization. Its focus is on developing tools for building Fiori apps.
We are looking for a Working Student / Intern, who will contribute to the team's success by supporting the development of a cutting-edge developer plugin that is outstanding in terms of usability and quality as part of the SAP Fiori tools.
Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
