What you'll do
We are looking for a Junior Cloud Native Developer (f/m/d), who wants to build our new SAP Product Lifecycle Management - Specification Management capability together with us. We invite you to join our dynamic team, where we have full end to end responsibility of our solution. Your contribution will have a direct impact on all our SAP PLM customers. As Junior Cloud Native Developer (f/m/d) you will contribute to our cloud native PLM capability by writing clean, high quality code ensuring security, performance and product standards. You can contribute on the full stack of our solution including UI5 frontend and CAP Java backend. While coding will be your core task, developing software at SAP is much more than just that. It's a team effort, including designing our products for the end user/customers, delivering our services efficiently and fast, in time and in quality.
As an Associate Developer (f/m/d) you will:
- Work together with experienced colleagues, who will support and mentor you
- Learn new technologies and apply those in the product development in an integrated fashion
- Contribute to technical concepts and discussions
- Demonstrate full responsibility for accepted tasks and therefore demonstrate a good level of quality, speed, reliability and efficiency
What you bring
- Master/ bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related
- You value teamwork and have excellent collaboration skills
- Very good comprehension skills, high quality commitment, and self-motivating working style
- Good development skills in one or more programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript or Java
- Passionate about applying your analytical skills to crack "hard nuts", and step out of your comfort zone if needed
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English and German
