In this role, you will lead global revenue recognition for software licenses, SaaS, and services across 20 countries, ensuring IFRS 15 and local GAAP compliance. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Lead end-to-end revenue recognition for software licenses, SaaS, and professional services across multiple jurisdictions
- Analyze customer contracts and collaborate with Sales, Legal, and Business Operations on accounting implications and deal structures
- Manage month-, quarter-, and year-end close for revenue and related accounts
- Prepare and review IFRS and HGB financial statements, ensuring transparency and compliance
- Coordinate group reporting and support internal/external reporting requirements
- Develop and maintain accounting policies, controls, and processes
- Prepare technical accounting memos and audit documentation
- Support audits as primary revenue and reporting contact
- Drive process improvements and automation in a cloud-first environment
- Act as a trusted advisor on revenue and financial reporting across the business
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/ACCA or equivalent is a plus
- 6+ years of accounting experience, ideally in software or professional services
- Strong knowledge of IFRS (especially IFRS 15) and HGB
- Experience with financial statement preparation, group reporting, and consolidation
- Experience with SAP ERP, preferably S/4HANA
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, clear communication of complex topics
- Fluency in English and German
