Our Banking Strategy & Go-to-Market team sits at the front of this transformation: we help tier-1 banks define what to build, why it creates value, and how to deliver it — and translate those decisions into commercial outcomes for our product teams.

About The Role

As a Consultant – Business Strategy & Banking Transformation (m/f/d), you will apply structured problem-solving to board-level challenges, build investment-grade business cases, and support executive decision-making. You take full ownership of your workstreams and client outcomes — from first analysis to final presentation.

You will play a key role in shaping our value narratives and proposals, translating complex banking challenges into clear, quantified, and compelling business cases.

What You’ll Do

  • Own workstreams in RfP/RfI processes, including scope definition, value proposition development, and storyline creation
  • Build robust business cases (ROI, TCO, efficiency gains) to support client investment decisions
  • Prepare and facilitate C-level workshops, translating business needs into actionable transformation roadmaps
  • Connect client insights with product development and go-to-market strategy
  • Deliver structured analyses and executive-ready presentations from concept to final recommendation

Requirements
  • 1–2 years of experience in consulting, financial services, or strategy/commercial roles in FinTech or SaaS
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, including financial modelling (Excel)
  • Ability to create clear, persuasive presentations for senior stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills for both business and technical audiences
  • Fluent in English and German

Nice To Have

  • Internships at consulting firms or tech/FinTech companies in relevant areas
  • Exposure to core banking, payments, or lending
  • Experience in business case development, value advisory, or pre-sales

What Success Looks Like in Your First Year

  • You independently own an RfP workstream end-to-end
  • A bank’s executive committee has approved a business case you developed
  • A product feature or capability has been influenced by insights you brought from a client engagement
