Overview
In this role you design, implement, and maintain automated and manual tests to ensure quality, reliability, and performance of Core Banking software. You work with cross-functional teams to embed automated tests early in the development lifecycle and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines. While not a full DevOps role, you apply DevOps practices to improve delivery reliability and feedback cycles. You contribute to test strategy, tooling, and automation across UI, API, and SAP GUI domains, enabling faster, more transparent software delivery.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Design, implement, and maintain manual and automated tests (UI, API, SAP GUI)
- Select and apply appropriate automation frameworks; ensure clean, reusable automation code
- Identify automation opportunities across the test pyramid and improve coverage and stability
- Collaborate to define test strategies and acceptance criteria; support quality engineering practices
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines; support build, test, and deployment pipelines
- Provide defect analysis, actionable reports, and metrics; support root cause analysis
- Ensure test environments and containerized execution readiness; support CI/CD consistency
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 3–6 years in test automation, quality engineering, or software testing
- Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript
- Hands-on with Playwright; SAP GUI testing experience
- Strong API testing knowledge and tools (e.g., Bruno)
- Git version control experience
- CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
- Basic understanding of DevOps, delivery automation, and Docker
- ISTQB-like methodology understanding; agile environment experience
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration
- Quality-driven mindset with pragmatic automation approach
