Development Architect/Expert (m/f/d) - Continuous Delivery

What you`ll do:

Join a team co-located in Walldorf and Bengaluru providing crucial services and support to 10+ development teams in the areas of Continuous Delivery and Developer Productivity.

1. Design and implement automation procedures in the context of builds, releases and deployments.
2. Operate K8s clusters with services provided to development teams (such as Grafana, Develocity, Metabase…).
3. Contribute to the system topology of Cloud Integration / Integration Suite ensuring efficient usage of resources and consistent deployments.
4. Support teams with test automation according to the programs testing strategy.
5. Document CI/CD best practices and guidelines for the development teams.
6. Automate the collection of metrics from the build-, test- and deployment processes (e.g. DORA) and provide easy to consume dashboards.

What you bring:

1. 10+ years of experience in software development / DevOps roles with proven experience with CI/CD related processes and infrastructure.
2. Expertise with Business Technology Platform (BTP), Cloud Foundry and Gardener for Kubernetes-Cluster management.
3. Understand the current CI/CD release infrastructure provided by the SAP Tools team and Hyperspace community (Hyperspace Portal, Github, Project-Portal, xMake, JaaS…).
4. Strong proficiency in Linux and virtualization environments, bash and scripting languages.
5. Good understanding of micro services based systems and corresponding testing strategies.
6. Understanding of AI technologies and related SAP Core services is a plus.
7. Experience with the domain of Cloud Integration is a plus.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate/document technical concepts to both our development and management teams.
9. Focused, responsible individual who enjoys working on a team with members from different locations (BLR and WDF).
