What you’ll do
In your role as Executive Business Assistant (f/m/d) to Gina Vargiu-Breuer, Chief People Officer you will manage the day-to-day business operations for the Chief People Officer, ensuring efficient executive representation, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction across our global offices. To work in the headquarter office in Walldorf, close to Heidelberg, is a prerequisite.
- Act as key interface and trusted advisor between People & Culture leadership and the Executive Board Member.
- Collaborate with senior management, monitor organizational priorities and business operations and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver key projects and initiatives.
- Travel periodically to support Board Member during key internal and external events.
- Coordinate and execute strategic initiatives and projects, ensuring the successful management and prioritization of actions to meet set goals and objectives.
- Facilitate effective communication, building relationships and a collaborative environment while acting as a liaison between the Executive Board Member, employees, and other internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive presentations, press releases, and customer letters, among others, for internal and external purposes.
- Support in the planning and execution of events and briefings for the Board Member.
- Proactively resolve unforeseeable events, customer inquiries, and escalations.
What you bring
- Over 5 years of professional experience in an HR role or HR practice in a consulting environment.
- Advanced knowledge of a People & Culture Board Area including key concepts.
- Proven ability to work under time pressure, demonstrating resilience and adaptability, with a keen ability to independently solve problems.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and juggle numerous tasks simultaneously, leveraging a team for efficient and effective outcomes.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with a positive „can-do“ attitude.
- Demonstrated sophisticated problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt communication styles, being assertive or diplomatic as needed for the situation.
- Solid experience in leading projects, teams, or organizations.
- Extensive business acumen, with a good understanding of human resource functions to contribute effectively to the organization’s overall goals and objectives.
- High level of integrity, demonstrating the ability to interact and build trustful relationships with executives inside and outside the company.
- Very good project management skills, ability to structure complex tasks under time pressure.
- Fluent in English and German.
