Summary:
SAP’s Corporate Processes & Information Technology (CPIT) is a critical enabler of our business success by providing world-class IT solutions, technology and operational support to our internal clients. Supporting more than 120,000 users and thousands of SAP systems, the team is responsible for SAP’s worldwide IT infrastructure and internal business applications.
The Role:
The Senior Internet Services Consultant will be responsible for 3rd level support on Internet Services Infrastructure as well as working on internal service improvement projects. You ensure that Internet Services are delivered in time and budget and work closely with our Managed Service Providers to ensure rock solid operation, adherence to global standards and continuous service improvement.
- Work together with a team of technical experts to ensure ongoing stability of SAP’s Internet Services infrastructure and related services.
- Conduct backup / disaster recovery processes.
- Deliver architecture recommendations based on industry best practices.
- Contribute towards the implementation and optimization of relevant systems.
- Develop relationships with other IT departments to stay aligned on new service / technology rollouts.
- Ensure guidelines, policies, tools and processes are kept up-to-date.
- Share your knowledge continuously to the team and promote participation in team meetings.
