Job Responsibilities

1. Take ownership of a module and associated quality and delivery.
2. Provide instructions, guidance, and advice to team members to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
3. Instruct and review the quality of work done by technical staff.
4. Identify key issues and challenges, prioritize tasks, and deliver results with minimal direction and supervision.
5. Investigate the root cause of problems and propose alternatives/solutions based on sound technical foundations.
6. Organize and draw connections among ideas and distinguish between implementable solutions.
7. Demonstrate flexibility in resolving problems/issues with an in-depth command of all techniques, processes, tools, and standards within the relevant field of specialization.
8. Responsible for requirement analysis and feasibility study including system-level work estimation while considering risk identification and mitigation.
9. Responsible for design, coding, testing, bug fixing, documentation, and technical support in the assigned area while adhering to quality and productivity goals.
10. Ensure traceability of requirements from design to delivery, including code optimization and coverage.
11. Conduct reviews, identify risks, and take ownership of the quality of deliverables.
12. Identify training needs of the team.
13. Enhance technical capabilities by attending trainings, self-study, and periodic technical assessments.
14. Participate in technical initiatives related to the project and organization and deliver training as per plan and quality.
15. Act as a technical mentor for junior members.
16. May be given additional responsibility of managing people based on the discretion of the Project Manager.

Education and Experience Required

Engineering graduate, MCA, etc. Experience: 5-8 years.

Experience in one or more of the following on RTOS: Design & development, bug fixing. Experience in one or more domains – Multimedia, Telephony, Connectivity in one or more of the following layers – Kernel & Drivers, Middleware, Applications.

Tools and Languages

Tools: Makefiles, JTAG, Lauterbach.

Languages: C, C++.
