Are you a software developer who's just as comfortable talking to clients as you are writing code? COMED is looking for someone to sit at the intersection of development, project management, and the client, turning real-world healthcare requirements into working software.

About the role

COMED's hospital software keeps growing in scope and complexity, and we want a developer who can own the client-facing side of it: understanding requirements firsthand, assessing them technically, and building the solution without everything having to be relayed through three teams first.

What you'll do

• Build and implement requirements directly within our software and client projects
• Work directly with clients to clarify and shape technical requirements
• Design and develop bespoke solutions tailored to client needs
• Investigate and fix issues across the application, data, and interfaces
• Support clients technically from initial requirements through to go-live
• Bridge development, project management, and requirements engineering
• Document your work so knowledge doesn't sit with one person

What you'll bring

• Solid professional experience in software development
• Confidence engaging directly with clients
• A structured, methodical approach to troubleshooting

Nice to have

• Experience in client-facing development roles
• ERP background (materials management, logistics, procurement, or finance)
