Role Overview

The Technical Project Manager (Aerospace Composites) will lead and manage aerospace composite projects from initiation to delivery. This includes ensuring successful project execution, effective stakeholder coordination, and meeting client requirements. You will also contribute your technical expertise to optimize processes and enhance the overall success of each project.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management: Oversee aerospace composite projects, ensuring timely delivery, within scope, and on budget.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the main point of contact for internal teams and clients, ensuring alignment and smooth communication.
• Risk & Budget Management: Proactively manage project risks, allocate budgets, and monitor progress to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Technical Expertise: Provide technical insights and contribute to process improvements for continuous project optimization.
• Process Improvement: Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements in project workflows and engineering processes.

Candidate Requirements

Must-Have Skills

• Technical Skills:

• Strong background in technical project management, with experience in engineering environments.
• Expertise in risk management and budget planning for complex projects.

• Experience with project management tools such as We Clapp or equivalent.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration.
• Hands-on approach with the ability to work independently.
• Motivated, solution-oriented, and willing to go the extra mile in challenging situations.

• German (C1–C2).
• English (C1–C2).

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Familiarity with the aerospace industry or related fields.
• Fluency in French is a bonus, but not mandatory.

Experience:

• At least 3 years of experience in technical project management or a related role.

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a similar field with a focus on management.

Team Structure

• Direct Reports: 1 direct colleague, 1 team lead, and 1 working student.
• Reporting Line: Head of Project Management (Asmus).
• Collaboration: Works closely with HR, Marketing, and various technical teams.

Hiring Process

Contract Specifics

• Contract Type: Open-ended.
• Working Hours: Standard 40 hours per week, with the possibility of reducing to 32 hours.
• Vacation Days: 30 days per year.
• Probation Period: 6 months.
